got a truck today to fulfill what my truck apprantly cant do.
1989 cummins 3/4T longbed 4x4

drove it home from truckee. drove it hard and fast and did lots of hot-rodding...
152-159 miles depending on the trip meter and my GPS(which wasnt started at same time as trip meter)
6.0xx gallons

speedo shows 70 when going 66
so worst case if speedo off by 6%

23.6 MPG

best case is 26.2 MPG

yep-body is poor, bed is HASH, but interior is in VERY good shape-wierd.
dash not cracked, seat not even worn...

How does this keep happening?

At this rate I'm gonna have to swap frames again and find a 6cyl cummins.

Total load of around 6,500 including truck. 

Same hill that >7,000 camper flew up at any speed. 

Truck

Floored in second gear dropped from 57 to 52. 

Gonna change cam timing. If that doesn't do it for power or make any change I'm finding a 6BT.
