chase Chase Bank out of your life

I have excellent credit. My wife has excellent credit.

Chase has decided to break their agreement on a "life of loan" balance and raise my min payment from 2% to 5% which will bankrupt me. On top of that-I just got a notice WAMU is closing my HELOC for no reason.

I have banked at WAMU since before it was WAMU. I have had my united visa credit card for almost 10 years with no late payments.
Chase bank took over both of them in the last 6 months.

customer service has completely broken down. I got hung up on by a chase rep when i asked to speak to supervisor. re-dialed and after asking to speak to super-I got another rep. they transferred me to another service and its been 41 minutes on hold so far. I don't expect to ever speak to a live person on this line.

I expect to be closing all my WAMU/chase and chase credit card accounts in the next 30 days and I hope you join me in doing the same. Its time to stand up for our rights as customers and consumers. FYI-google chase bank and see the millions of websites with postings exactly like mine and the exceeding amount of class-action lawsuits against chase for these fraudulent business practices.

The government should not bail out any private business nor nationalize any private business. PERIOD!

ONE hour, 54 minutes later! the only resolution is a company called MMI is going to collect a $8 fee, tell chase they are only going to get $xxx/month and I end up paying within $100 of the total life of loan amount after everything is paid off.

the most interesting thing is that not only are they getting an $8 fee BUT... they hold the payment for 15 days and presumably collect interest on it then submit it to chase.
